WP Cumulus Flash tag cloud by Roy Tanck and Luke Morton requires Flash Player 9 or better.
I prefer the Cooliris app to this, though I agree about the screen clutter and the possibility of people surfing the web. Can those controls be blocked out somehow? If not then this is still great.
I agree. I prefer Cooliris, too. The advantages of this:
1) easy to install and upload images to. Already on my web server.
2) You can add captions to the back of the image.
3) You cannot (easily) leave the interface to a web page. Fully controlled (especially if you do not provide a keyboard).
4) You can control how many images per screen, so we can easily divide the presentation into 8 pages (one for each student).
That said, the Cooliris application is far more fluid and attractive to look at. I’ll put both up and test on the large screen. I need everyone’s help to mount the translucent perspex on a rigid frame and test the rear-projection and mimio setup.
Good luck with the submission tomorrow.
